I am a third year clinical graduate student minoring in behavioral neuroscience. My time is spent between my research at LCAP and my clinical work at the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration.

At LCAP, I am involved in collecting, processing, and analyzing data for our current LCAP project on stress and emotional reactivity. Additionally, I am contributing to the conceptualization and design of paradigms for the next phase of our LCAP study. My work on the LCAP projects complements my proposed dissertation research, through which I am trying to elucidate the neural substrates of affective abnormalities in schizophrenia by exploring event-related potentials to affective stimulus presentation

At the VA, I conduct individual therapy with clients with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. I also conduct group therapy with veterans with schizophrenia, and work on a clinical research project investigating the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy for psychosis.
