I am a fifth-year graduate student and doctoral candidate in clinical psychology. I am interested in the neural mechanisms involved in disrupted perception and cognition in schizophrenia. I am also interested in how this knowledge can better inform treatment, advocacy, and psychoeducational programs for people experiencing psychosis. My dissertation uses EEG to examine auditory processing before and after a cognitive training intervention and whether auditory perceptual changes covary with cognitive changes and are moderated by (a) the presence and/or severity of auditory hallucinations and (b) environmental noise pollution.
During the 2025-2026 academic year, I will be completing my clinical internship at the VA Los Angeles Greater Healthcare System.
