All RAs in the lab assist in conducting research sessions, including acquisition of EEG and EKG data, as part of our ongoing study
Additional opportunities to work with graduate students on separate research projects are available on an individual basis
Interested students may receive up to 4 credits per quarter in Psych 196 for their participation in lab research
Advanced students who have completed at least 3 quarters as an RA in the lab and have a record of excellent work may additionally seek an independent project under the mentorship of a graduate student
Information for Interested Students
Applicants wishing to interview for an RA position will be asked to submit an unofficial transcript/grade report and curriculum vitae (CV) via email
Preference is given to individuals with a GPA > 3.5
Students accepted as RAs will undergo training in the lab and must complete CITI and HIPAA training online prior to working with study participants
RAs are expected to commit 8-10 hours per week in the lab
